
On the cusp of being canceled, with the backing of the swim team families and members, Natalie appealed to the Board of Education for a reversal of decision. Winning that battle, the team needed to stay afloat for its young swimmers. To do this, they relied on public relations efforts through communication & engagement with the local community, including the school board, administration of Primary through High schools, parents, students and sponsors. The team's largest fundraiser of the year is a 6k road race which required additional promotion, logo design elements, communication and customer relationship management resulting in repeat runners (both virtually and in-person).
